Wednesday, August 5 – How Safe Are Our Cell Phones and Computers – A Panel Discussion

Join us Wednesday, August 5, 7 to 9 pm. by Zoom for a panel discussion to help us understand privacy and cybersecurity, our first step to our State consensus.

Our panelists are:
Sheila McGinnis, LWVOR Privacy and Cybersecurity study committee member;
Darla Rush, Election and Passport Manager – Benton County;
Mary Sinclair, LWVOR Privacy and Cybersecurity study committee chair;
Ron Talwalkar, Vice President of Product and Technology for Cybersecurity.

In the digital age, it is increasingly challenging to protect the personal identity and privacy of individuals, and to provide the open, secure flow of information in cyberspace for the benefit of all. Efforts to address privacy and cybersecurity policy concerns today are complicated by the increase in big data, E-commerce, and artificial intelligence.
