The public is invited to “Economy and Climate Change: How can our investments make a difference?” featuring a diverse panel that will help both individuals and organizations explore how their investments can be put to work toward a just and livable future.

Panelists include:

  • Robert Devine, author of The Sustainable Economy: The Hidden Costs of Climate Change and the Path to a Prosperous Future (Anchor Books/Penguin Random House LLC)
  • Jennifer Alix-Garcia, Dept. Head and Professor, OSU College of Agricultural Sciences, Dept. of Applied Economics
  • Kristen Taylor, Client Advisor at Mission Wealth Inc., specializing in sustainable investing

Key questions to be addressed during their presentations are: What is the role of money in creating a sustainable economy, and how can individuals and organizations ensure that their investments are supporting companies whose goals are aligned with their values? How can policies help in this effort?
