Addressing the need for affordable housing will require the creative ideas and “outside the box” thinking of members of our community. To engage more people in this important dialogue, the Corvallis Sustainability Coalition’s Housing Action Team is sponsoring forums at the Corvallis-Benton County Public Library, 645 NW Monroe Street.
The public is invited:
Monday, Oct. 30, 7:00 to 8:30 pm – EXPLORING LOCAL AFFORDABLE HOUSING OPTIONS
The first of two forums on affordable housing in Corvallis will feature presentations by Habitat for Humanity and Willamette Neighborhood Housing Services.
Monday, Nov. 13, 7:00 to 8:30 pm – CREATING HOUSING OPTIONS
The second forum on affordable housing in Corvallis will focus on what the City code allows in terms of housing on existing residential properties, ideas for shared housing, and more.
